Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SafeGloss, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service Description

SafeGloss is a glossary and language-support platform for educational and research-aligned use. Features may include glossary authoring, translations, generated examples, audio, roster import tools, quizzes, gamification features, and classroom workflows.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current.

Acceptable Use

You may not use SafeGloss to violate laws, infringe rights, disrupt service integrity, attempt unauthorized access, or submit harmful/abusive content. We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.

Third-Party Integrations

SafeGloss may connect to third-party services (for example Google Classroom, Microsoft, Clever, or other providers) when authorized by a user. Use of those services is also governed by their own terms and policies.

Google API data used in SafeGloss integrations is handled in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

Content and Intellectual Property

You retain rights to content you submit, subject to rights needed for us to host, process, and display that content to provide the service. SafeGloss software and branding remain the property of their respective owners/licensors.

Subscriptions and Billing

Paid features, if offered, are billed according to the plan terms shown at purchase. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

Disclaimers

SafeGloss is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific educational outcomes.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, SafeGloss and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when necessary for security, legal compliance, policy enforcement, or service operations.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
