For Teachers

  • Create classes and add glossaries to each course for easy student access.
  • Use Study Mode and Exam Mode scheduling to control glossary behavior during assessments.
  • Print or share glossaries from Reader view, including QR codes for quick access.
  • Review student usage in dashboards and course reports.

For IT Admins

Use MDM (or Android/Linux equivalents) to enforce secure exam usage.

Recommended MDM Controls

  • Whitelist https://safegloss.org and required login providers.
  • Enable single-app or kiosk mode for test sessions.
  • Disable screen capture, external storage, and copy/paste.
  • Block VPNs or non-approved network proxies.

Exam Session Workflow

  • Schedule Exam Mode windows in Safegloss.
  • Push device profiles at exam start; remove after.
  • Verify students can only access approved glossary content.
  • Capture logs or audit reports as needed.

For Students

  • Open glossaries from your dashboard or class list.
  • Use Reader view for term-by-term study and audio support.
  • During exams, Study features may be limited by policy.
  • If you lose access, contact your teacher or school IT admin.
